About Pulse Web Hosting

Providing affordable e-commerce, hosting, domains and email solutions

Founded in 2007 Pulse Web Hosting has one of the best-connected hosting facilities in the world and because there has been a great deal of investment in both network equipment and backbone connections, customers get the fastest access possible to their content.

Based in Lancashire, England, our goal is to make web hosting simple, easy and affordable for anyone with a connection to the internet. We believe in top quality products, service and support.

Pulse's web hosting services are hosted on the Supanet network. Supanet is one of the fastest growing Internet Service Providers in the UK with over a million registered subscribers.

Supanet's success as an ISP has been established because they build and maintain their own systems; therefore they are able to plan their infrastructure well ahead of customer needs. The technical capacity of the network is designed to be at least 45% ahead of subscriber expectations.

The network that Pulse Web Hosting is on consists of 4 strategically placed POP locations (see map), which provide fast dial-up and broadband internet access and fully functioning, geographically diverse hosting facilities.

It has been designed in such a way that full redundancy is maximised in case of any unforeseen problems and we are confident that any major issues will not directly impact our customers' access.

The network has Tier 1* carrier access that covers Asia, North America, Europe and Oceania with industry-leading SLAs.

All our servers are housed in our secure POPs, and expert engineers provide 24/7, 365 days a year support and maintenance across our entire UK network. The POPs feature computer grade environments (raised flooring, air-conditioned environmental control and UPS with generator backup).

Pulse Web hosting is a member of Nominet and Network Solutions providing safety and security for the customers and demonstrating a commitment to making it easy and affordable for anybody of any skill level to build and grow their internet presence.

Tier 1: A carrier group possessing a world-scale broadband IP backbone, capable of controlling its own network and does not depend on an "upper" provider to maintain its quality.
